I wanted to update the last journal entry a bit…and give you my true thoughts of Drawn to Life the next chapter in comparison to the first…

WARNING…if you have not finished the 2nd Drawn to Life, I highly advise you…DO NOT read this until you finished the game……I wish to not spoil your appetite…

Ok…FIRST OF ALL, I really don’t think the creators were thinking about a second Drawn to Life when they were producing the first one. One of the reasons why I think they weren’t thinking of another Drawn to Life when they were making the first (and highly recommendable) Drawn to Life is because the games don’t seem to connect well. Of course you have all you beloved characters such as Jowee and Wilfre, and you have your mysterious Heather. But those characters are the only things that connect with the first game. Don’t you agree that the first Drawn to Life was a lot about religion instead of a fantasy dream of some kid? Also, in this part of the game, Mike and Heather are, supposedly, very important…while in the first game Heather just followed everyone, especially Jowee, around and Mike was living in the raposa world unnoticed….

If you realize some things...the first Drawn to life focuses a bit on Christianity…
1. Wilfre is the antichrist…he rebels against god because of his lust for power and vanity (he thinks he’s so much better than the creator)
2. Mari: ...the VIRGIN Mary? ...sound familiar?
3. Jowee: Joseph is Jesus' father...JoEY is short for Joseph
4. The hero is Jesus because he was made simply by the creator himself
5. The Creator: ...God

I found that the second Drawn to Life has NOTHING AT ALL to do with religion…which is another reason why I believe they weren’t thinking about another DTL when they created the first. Instead…THIS Drawn to Life was all about SYMBOLISM.
1. Wilfre: Wilfre is trying to destroy the color from the raposa world. If you think of things scientifically, the color BLACK is the absence of all light and color…but black is also the color of darkness and also known as the color of death. Also, now that we have realized that Mike was actually dreaming about the raposa and was in a coma…what do you see when you close your eyes…DARK…lotsa lotsa dark…Dark, as I have explained, black is the color of death. …on the other hand, when you open your eyes, you see …COLOR… therefore, if Wilfre destroyed the color of their world, Mike would never see the light of day again…he would just see darkness; he would be dead. Meaning that the raposa would live forever.
2. Pirate Beard and the Turtle Rock: These two characters share one thing in common. They are both the hard struggle, journey, and fight for survival.
3. Heather: As we notice at the end of Drawn to Life the Next Chapter, in the real world, Heather’s human face is covered in bandages at the hospital. When in the game, that same side of her face is covered in darkness. As I have explained, the color black can never be a good thing… (He was dreaming about the damage done to Heather’s face).

As of the ending of the 2nd Drawn to Life, I truly think they just got lazy and, either made a horrible ending because they couldn’t think of anything else, OR they just rushed on it, and threw it into the game in half of a day...I have disgusted the end of this game to my father, and he told me that what drawn to life did was actually a tactic used in many movies…its taking the easy way out! Movie directors and game directors use this method when they are trying to make is clear that there will not be another game or movie being released. THEY DID THIS ON PURPOSE!!! Another thing that upsets me about knowing that the creators of Drawn to Life 2 have used this tactic purposely is that this entire game is supposed to be about CREATIVITY!!! ..And the creators of DTL2 have given us none! It also seems as though they were making things up as they went along…and that there wasn’t too hard of a thought process about the second one. I know that the second one has many sub plots as opposed to the first…but at least the first was consistent and was understandable, unlike the second when everything crumbles at the end and your understanding and love for the raposa world is challenged by the mere thought that the characters never even existed. The fact that this game was all about a little boys dream simply kills the enthusiasm. And I know that it is just a game and they never existed in the first place, but in games aren’t supposed to be REAAALL LIIIIFE! … >:{ real life event placed into games make the gaming experience drop dramatically. There’s much more than one reason why I am, and, apparently, everyone else is, upset with the outcome of this game. Not only that…the ending was highly depressing for all of us! All the characters that we knew and loved died at the end…I really don’t even think they died happy…for Jowee and Mari didn’t even get to tell each other how much they loved one another…….

I have also noticed how some of you Wilfre-Lovers are upset with Wilfre’s outcome….for he was never really evil in this game…..but don’t think about it in the raposa perspective (which is ‘he’s trying to save the raposa’ )…think about what HE would think. He is still the Villain of the game. Perhaps he WASN’T trying to save the rapos for GOOD…for their sakes. I think he thought he could still play God. For is he does save the raposa from a horrible fate, they would bow at his feet. They would treat him as a savior and therefore be a God. Therefore the raposa will realize how much the Creator betray them; therefore that God that banished Wilfre from all light would be NO MORE…he would still be evil and rebelling against God as he did in the first game. On the other hand…another way he would think is that he doesn’t want to die…and he WON’T die from the likes of someone he doesn’t even care about…and it is either kill or be killed to him. An alternative to that would be he doesn’t want the raposa’s fate to be resting in a little boys hands….mush rather…HIS hands. Villains enjoy the slightest thought of someone suffering because of them…and he wasn’t going to let Mike do the work for him.

....BUT there is still hope for the raposa in our weary minds…for some people are creating alternative endings for this game. I, personally, have to thank WattleDee11 for creating this WONDERFULLY AMAZING alternative ending. [link] I must say! His amazing creatively led my mind to believe that his story ACTUALLY happened! If only the Creators of the 2nd Drawn to Life did something like this…then the game would have more value to the beloved fans! WELL DONE!!

Jeremiah…if you can hear us…ALL of us…we are VERY… VERY….disappointed in you….
